 It’s Late Summer… Time to Renovate

**“Beep-beep-beep, *beeeep-beeeep-beeeep,* beep-beep-beep.” **

You might recognize Morse Code for SOS, but do you recognize your yard’s cry for help?  Perhaps you have noticed large areas of dying grass, or encroaching weeds and unwelcome varieties of grasses attempting to take your lawn by storm.

Now, let’s be practical.  Having the nicest lawn on the block is only ***most*** of the reason for renovating.  By springtime, your yard will be covered in a dense, green, healthy growth that resists diseases and chokes out unwanted vegetation.

In our St. Louis climate, August is the optimal time to initiate this four-step process.  First, we test your soil to determine if there are any problems that need special attention.  Next, we eradicate weeds and unwanted vegetation.  The third step includes aeration, overseeding, and fertilizing.  Finally, we top-dress the soil with compost.
